After decades of printing costly and extensive annual reports, the Boston Symphony Orchestra Annual Report was launched as a microsite in March 2019. After proposing the advantages in both methods of content creation and cost savings to senior management, I was able to develop a sitemap, and with the help of my team, design and build this new, exciting recap of the organization’s 2017-2018 fiscal year. The website featured both photo and video, showcasing the amazing work the BSO does each year, as well as interactive donor lists, singling out those that make it possible every year.
Similar microsites were created in 2020 and 2021 for fiscal years 2018-19 and 2019-20, before they were archived by the BSO in 2021 following a full website redesign.
